About The Artist

Stacie AndersonStacie Anderson grew up in the Midwest and earned a bachelor's degree in English Literature from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After graduating she moved to Arizona, where her first job was selling Native American jewelry at the El Tovar Hotel and Hopi House on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Eventually she landed a job at Phantom Ranch, the historic guest ranch at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. There she realized the importance of living creatively and following her heart. Throughout her journey, the natural world has influenced her approach to art and life.

Silversmithing is a relatively new venture for her, which she finds exciting and challenging at every turn. Her work is focused on the vibrancy and brilliance of various semi-precious stones accented by the cool, clean lines of sterling silver. Each piece is lovingly handmade and "one-of-a-kind". As in nature, she believes that the emphasis should remain on simplicity.

Since 1993 Stacie's "home-base" has been in Prescott and although she spends much of her time traveling, she is always happy to return home to Arizona.
